Used it for couple of hours and blades blunted and lumps out of them. Reversed them and happened again in a short period. You have sent me replacements but i am concerned the same will happen and at £70 a pair. It will be very expensive to run. Apart from the blades i am very pleased at the build quality and performance. Can i not get better quality blades support

I have now used the machine and it certainly does the job. I did have problems assembling the chute and drum housing. I was not strong enough to bring the two items together so that I could tighten the bolts. I had to resort to using mole grips to achieve the task.

The handbook instruction were not very good and it took a bit of time to work it all out when putting it together. There is no guidance to where the oil goes or that you need to tip the machine forwrad to fill it up?

This machine is a beast! It’s quite heavy and is a bit difficult to move around, Larger pneumatic tyres would probably solve that. Ah for the chipper performance, it’s a brilliant bit of kit that chomps through garden trimmings and even small trees at a rate of knots!
TBH, I was quite wary of buying this machine, having had a smaller inferior chipper before but, this machine is an absolute game changer and will make managing our large and overgrown garden much easier.
One other thing, make sure you have the space to store it because once assembled, it’s pretty big.

Excellent machine and very well made. Part of the rubber protective flaps came off on first use which was a shame but doesn’t effect operation or safety. Will be a solid work horse for many years to come hopefully!

Great bit of kit, but should come with oil!
