It took two of us a very long time – around three hours – to assemble everything, largely because not all of the pre-drilled holes lined up, so a lot of fettling was required – I think there must be an easier way to supply the kit to make assembly more user friendly, or simply offer a fully assembled option. Once completed, the splitter has worked very well, and I’m pleased with it.

Love it – life changing BUT… the stand is really fiddly to put together with bolts in ridiculously inaccessible positions. But don’t let that put you off.

Only rated as 4 stars, the ram was installed upside down so handle wrong way round. Package was dropped at some stage as stand support bracket bent had to straighten to fit cradle legs. one bolt missing for front caster bracket. The splitter itself works very well no effort to split logs.

Arrived next day but missing one item, quickly resolved by helpful team. Now splitting logs I couldn’t with an axe.
