My son has a 10ton Elec splitter that i was using recently , and its fine but you dont get the same bombproof feeling from it . All in all , for domestic firewood its an excellent tool that works very well and is well put together .

Or was it only 2? Clear instructions made assembly quick and easy. Yes, thre is too much side play in the pedals so I will follow the recommendation to fit washers and tighten up a bit. Why not make this part of the original assembly? I had a barrow load of big logs split in no time. This is an excellent piece of kit!
