I find this machine has amazing power and I get as much joy out of spiltting with it as I did with a maul (only this splits absolutely everything – 1st time every time). The precision is excellent, my logs are now completely uniform. And the whole process is now so quick; I split right next to my indoor hopper – no more trolleying wood from yard to shed, and no more only being able to split on a dry day. Looking at eBay I could get at least 50% of my money back in 4 years – and buying new I’ve 3 years warranty. I am really very happy.

I opted for the stand but am not using it at the moment. I bought with stand as it’s very expensive option to a add later (£25 with splitter £67 to add later)
