For branches this is fantastic , but useless for leaves I thought buying this mulcher version it would do both but no, branches only, I should have just bought the chipper with the high discharge chute and would have been easier to use

Excellent, after a short learning curve it works perfectly. Assembly was mostly straightforward with the only tricky bit being extremely short threaded length being available when attaching the undercarriage, slightly thinner spring washers or longer bolts would solve this instantly. The engine started with the first pull of the cord!

I have used the chipper version on this machine before so was familiar with it and knew it would meet my requirements. It was straight forward to assemble and fired up on the first pull, it hasn’t been put to test yet though.
One area that isn’t very good at all is the confusing information regarding checking the oil. I followed the instructions and added a bottle of oil 600ml but there is a note added to the paperwork that says in order to check the oil level you must drain the oil into a measuring jug and if below 600ml add more and pour back in! Come on do you seriously expect users to do this prior to each use. I have always done my pre-use checks on all my machines and to have to drain the oil just to check is a first and it is ludicrous. The information is also contradictory in that the engine manual still mentions the dip sticks, which have been removed and it says to use 650ml of oil, come on which is it 600 or 650ml?
If you are thinking about one of these machines I would seriously reconsider and maybe look at something that uses a Honda engine, which is reliable and doesn’t require the oil to be removed just to check its level.
I wouldn’t have bought this machine if I had known this beforehand!

La principale distinction entre la déchiqueteuse et le broyeur réside dans le type de matériau qu’ils peuvent traiter efficacement.

Déchiqueteuse :

Idéal pour déchiqueter des branches d’arbres ou des boutures comportant peu de feuilles. Les copeaux produits mesurent entre 10 et 15 mm.

Broyeur :

Adapté au déchiquetage, au broyage et au paillage des haies feuillues et des matières vertes, y compris les matières végétales. Les copeaux produits seront inférieurs à 10 mm.

Les deux machines sont capables de manipuler du bois d’un diamètre allant jusqu’à 50 mm (2 pouces).

It’s a great bit of kit, I only stopped short of 5 smilies because some instructions on how to fit the upper discharge chute would have been good.

Very fiddly to assemble as the bolts are not long enough – this is such an easy fix to avoid a frustrating initial customer interaction before the machine has been switched on. Have only used it once (arrived yesterday), but it got clogged up after 15 mins use when mulching soft stems. Much better on firmer stems.
