It works really well. If you are shredding a larger branch then it has to be fed into the machine very carefully or the engine stalls. That being said it coped well with what I threw at it (large branches and all) and I am pleased with the purchase. The only reason for the 4 and not 5 star review was for a small matter of the waste chute that continually blocked from the foliage of the conifers. The sap stuck to the sides of the chute and encouraged the waste to do likewise. I don’t suppose the design team can do much about that though. As I said, it is a great piece of kit that is easily transportable and very powerful for its size. It was also very easy to put together and fired up first time. This has saved me numerous trips to the local tip and has produced a large amount of free mulch for the garden.
