This is a brushless motor.

As the motors are a universal replacement to fit many brands of log splitter, the mounting bracket is predrilled with only a pilot hole. It must be drilled out to the correct diameter for the mounting bolt on the machine you are fitting it to. This is typically an 8mm bolt.

The 2200 watt unit fits our FM5, FM8 & FM10, 5, 6 & 7-ton log splitters.

A complete electric motor and pump assembly for electric log splitters. 2200 watt 3hp with a standard UK 3-pin plug, which is suitable for the FM5, FM8 and FM10 series of log splitters. Will fit other makes and models. The motor has a push button start that must be held down and is weather protected to IP54 standard, water splashes. Attached by 3 bolts from the pump to the underside of the log splitter and one horizontal bolt at the back of the motor.

The 2300w unit fits our FM16 8-ton log splitter.
